Making a scroll with Flash CS3
Hello! Here again with another with another sensational tutorial. This is a tutorial for people who do not have much experience using adobe flash cs3, or simply do not have the time to edit a scroll. In this tutorial I will present a tool that has adobe flash cs3. This tool is a scroll that wing when it is inserted into a dynamic text field fits perfectly with respect to the top of the text field. Such a component is already programmed at the factory which corresponds to the ActionScript code, so you do not have to put a single line of code that will save you time to make a scroll. Step 1
Create a new document in Flash CS3 (ctrl + N), once you see the different options to select flash file (Flash File "ActionScript 2.0").
Then select the OK box.
Step 2
Create the document properties for this flash movie (ctrl. + J).
The dimensions of the paper is 250 px width * 200 px high.
Set as background color # 00FFFF.
Use as a 12 fps frame rate.
Step 3
Select the text tool, type in the text option to opt for the dynamic text option.
I use for this tutorial as a font (Arial), font size (15) and font color (#000000).
Choose the type of line (Multiline), select the box (Display border around the text)
The dimensions of the text field are 218.5 px width * 171.5 px height.
Place the text field in coordinates X: 10.0 Y: 14.3. Note. Center the text field on the stage. Write a text that is large, this text will be displayed with the scroll in the SWF movie.
Step 4
Make visible the panel components (ctrl. + F7).
Open Option (User Interface).
The component that will be placed in the text field is (UIScrollBar).
Step 5
Drag the component (UIScrollBar) in the inside of the text field.
The image illustrates perfectly what I mention.
Step 6
When you release the component (UIScrollBar) into the text field, a bar that covers the whole text with respect to height. If the bar component is adapted to the text field scroll work properly. Once you publish your SWF file is displayed with a scroll bar and two arrow indicating that you can move in order to see the written text.
